Customers with MidSouth Bank Credit Cards that were opened between 2004 and 2009 will soon receive a letter notifying them that their card is being reissued. Customers who opened an account in 2010 or later are not affected.

MidSouth Bank carefully selected a new provider (TIB) to issue and service co-branded credit cards carrying the MidSouth logo. Our bank originally partnered with Silverton Card Services (then known as The Banker’s Bank) to issue both consumer and business credit cards for our customers. Silverton Bank was assumed by the FDIC in 2009 and their card services division was acquired by another company.

While your plastic credit cards and monthly statements have continued to bear the MidSouth Bank name, this letter is the first cardholder notice regarding the change. This letter is being mailed to customers holding personal cards only – transition of business credit cards is planned for early 2012.
