INVESTOR INFORMATION Dear Subscriber: This letter is to update you on the organizational progress of MidSouth Bank. Since the intentions to open this community bank were first announced, much has been accomplished! When approved, MidSouth Bank will become just the second of 14 banks operating in the county with corporate headquarters in Rutherford County. All others are headquartered in and managed from other counties and/or other states. We are excited about serving as your locally owned and operated community bank! We are extremely encouraged by your tremendous interest in MidSouth Bank. In only four months, over 1400 persons have subscribed to more than $25 million in stock…surpassing our original goal of $15 million in capital by over 60%! While the initial offering of stock was limited to $20 million, regulatory authorities have agreed to allow MidSouth Bank to capitalize at a higher figure, thereby allowing all subscribers to potentially receive their full request of stock. As a result, stock subscriptions have been extended through mid-September and a call for funds will be made as soon as approval is received from the regulatory authorities (anticipated by mid-October). Notification will be sent by mail at that time. MidSouth Bank has also established a web site for your convenience at www.midsouthbanking.com. (Due to pre-existing domain registrations, the word "banking" is used instead of "bank" in our web site address.) We encourage you to bookmark this site and visit it regularly for ongoing MidSouth updates.
