MURFREESBORO, Tennessee — MidSouth Bank has promoted three officers in recognition of their ongoing contributions to the bank’s successes. Lee Moss, chairman and CEO, cited the additional responsibilities that each has undertaken in recent months as proof of their commitment to serve at a higher level.
“All three individuals, Andrea Gipson, Janet Bowman and Tiffany Young, have something in common,” stated Moss. “Each of them sets a good example by their commitment to the bank. More importantly, they have a track record for putting the interests of those they serve above themselves. It’s no wonder that our customers and staff appreciate their leadership and work ethic.”
Andrea Gipson has assumed new duties as Vice President and Controller. Gipson joined MidSouth Bank prior to its opening in 2004. In addition to her day-to-day accounting responsibilities, she is secretary of the bank’s Audit Committee.
Janet Bowman was promoted to Vice President and will continue to serve as the bank’s Business Development Officer. Bowman is credited with developing numerous business and personal banking relationships over the last few years. She joined MidSouth bank in 2005 as a customer service representative and served as team leader at the Old Fort Parkway office before becoming an assistant vice president in the business development area.
Tiffany Young is now Assistant Vice President and retains her role as Branch Operations Coordinator. She was previously a team leader at the bank’s Church Street office.
