Alexander has been President of Alexander Ford Lincoln/Mercury and Alexander Chevrolet-Oldsmobile-Cadillac since 1987. Prior to his involvement with the Alexander Automotive Family, he served as a Maintenance Officer and Fighter Pilot in the United States Air Force.

       Alexander graduated from Franklin High School and received a Bachelor of Aviation Management degree from Auburn University in 1975. While in the Air Force, Alexander was a graduate of Fighter Weapons Instructors Course "Top Gun."

       His professional accomplishments include representative of the Ford Dealer Council and Chevrolet Local Area Marketing Group Executive Committee Member.

       Alexander has served in various leadership roles in the community. He is currently a Board Member of Destination Rutherford and of The Webb School Parents Association. He is past Board Chair of Crime Stoppers and past board member of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce. He was selected Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the year in 1995. In 1992 he was a graduate of Leadership Rutherford.

       Alexander, his wife, Melanie, and 2 children are members of Belle Aire Baptist Church.
