JANET BOWMAN PROMOTED AT MIDSOUTH BANK

       Murfreesboro, TN – Lee Moss, Chairman and CEO announced that Janet Bowman has been promoted to Team Leader of the Old Fort Parkway Office. The office is located at Old Fort Parkway and St. Claire St. near Kohl's Department store. Bowman is responsible for the overall administration of the office as well as recruiting new business to help grow the most recent MidSouth Bank office which opened in September, 2006.

       Bowman received an Associates Degree in Business from Middle Tennessee State University in 1979. She joined MidSouth Bank in 2005 as a Customer Service Representative. She began her 25-year banking career in 1979 at First National Bank in Livingston, Tennessee, and she came to MidSouth Bank from SunTrust Bank where she worked in the Student Loan Department and as a Customer Service Representative.

       Bowman is active in the American Heart Association, March of Dimes, and United Way of Rutherford County as well as a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

       She was born in Livingston Tennessee and moved to Murfreesboro in 2000. She has a son, John Bowman, who will be attending the University of Tennessee in Knoxville after graduating from Oakland High School. They attend World Outreach Church.
