Bowman received an Associate’s Degree in Business from Middle Tennessee State University in 1979. She joined MidSouth Bank in 2005 as a Customer Service Representative. She began her 30-year banking career in 1979 at First National Bank in Livingston, Tennessee. She came to MidSouth Bank from SunTrust Bank where she worked in the Student Loan Department and as a Customer Service Representative. She is currently serving as an Assistant Vice President and Team Leader for our Old Fort Parkway Office.

Bowman is active in the American Heart Association, United Way of Rutherford County as well as a member of the Chamber of Commerce. She is also a new member of the Noon Exchange Club.

She was born in Livingston, Tennessee and moved to Murfreesboro in 2000. She has a son, John Bowman, who is attending Middle Tennessee State University and plans to major in Medical Technology. They attend World Outreach Church.
