    Alisa Burton Promoted to Vice President
    June 26, 2006

           Murfreesboro TN – Lee Moss, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Ben Weatherford, President and Chief Operations Officer of MidSouth Bank have announced that Alisa Burton has been promoted to Vice President. Burton joined the bank in its early phase prior to its opening. She is a very experienced Community Banker who is strong in both commercial and personal banking relationships.

           Burton is a graduate of McGavock High School in Nashville, TN. She continued her education through the American Institution of Banking, Nashville, taking numerous courses relating to the financial industry.

           She began her 24-year banking career as a teller and customer service representative in 1980 with the former Third National Bank. She quickly advanced in her chosen career and moved to Murfreesboro in 1993. Her last position prior to joining MidSouth Bank in 2003 was Business Banking Relationship Manager.

           While in her former position, Burton received many awards and was consistently top producer in Middle Tennessee. In 2003 she served as Co-Chair with the United Way Small Business Campaign.

           Burton and husband, Scot, reside in Murfreesboro and attend World Outreach Church.
