Erika was born in Davenport, Iowa, on October 2, 1977. She attended Muscatine Community College where in 1998 she received an Associate in Arts Degree in Business Management. She then transferred to Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree in 2000. Erika’s career began in 1996 when she joined Blue Grass Savings Bank in Blue Grass, Iowa as a Teller and was shortly thereafter promoted to a Collections Specialist. She later worked for AmerUs Bank as an Account Service Specialist and Mercantile Bank (now US Bank) working in the operations department. After graduating from Drake, Erika accepted a position with Principal Financial Group working as a Pension Service Associate and later transferred to Principal Residential Mortgage to work as a Mortgage Loan Originator. In 2002, Erika relocated to Middle Tennessee where she worked as a Corporate Trainer and Team Manager at the former Platinum Mortgage Services, Inc. before joining MidSouth Bank as a Customer Service Representative in 2005. In 2007, Erika transferred to the MidSouth Bank credit department to serve as a Credit Analyst, and in November 2008, was promoted to Credit Officer. Erika is an alumni member of Delta Sigma Pi, Professional Business Fraternity as well as Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. In her free time, Erika shares her love of dance by teaching tap and jazz at a local studio. She and her husband, along with their son, attend World Outreach Church. |
