Tyler Folkmann grew up in Iowa and graduated from HLV High School. He then moved to Roseville, Minnesota to attend Northwestern Bible College. In 2002, he transferred to MTSU and graduated in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Financial Institution Management. Tyler has worked at MidSouth Bank as a teller, customer service representative, and most recently as the Team Leader for the Smyrna office on Lowry Street.

Tyler is a very active member of Belle Aire Baptist Church through various music ministries. Tyler has participated since 2005 with Team A.S.K. (Athletes for Special Kids) by fundraising and running in the Country Music ½ Marathon and bicycling in the H.O.T. 100 events. He graduated from Murfreesboro’s Citizen Police Academy in 2008. Lastly, he is a loud and proud Blue Raider fan and BRAA member.

Tyler lives in Christiana with his wife, Stephanie, formerly of Columbia, TN. He enjoys making music, landscaping, and cheering for the Blue Raiders.
