MIDSOUTH BANK ANNOUNCES PROMOTION OF Andrea Gipson

Murfreesboro, TN – Ben Weatherford, President and Chief Operations Officer of MidSouth Bank has announced that Andrea Gipson has been promoted to Assistant Vice President in the Accounting Department. Gipson handles all month-end accounting and financial reporting as well as preparing various reports and budgeting.

Gipson received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with emphasis in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University. She was born in Cookeville, Tennessee and moved to Murfreesboro in 1985.

Gipson was employed as a Senior Accountant with National Healthcare Corporation for three years. She began her banking career as Accounting Manager at Bank of Murfreesboro (now First Bank) for three years before joining MidSouth Bank as Accounting Manager.

Gipson and husband, Greg, are expecting their first child in October.
