Andrea was born in Cookeville, Tennessee, and graduated from Cookeville High. She moved to Murfreesboro to attend MTSU where she was a member of Beta Alpha Psi and the Financial Management Association. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting when she graduated from MTSU in August, 1992.

Andrea worked in retail through out college and received many promotions. She started as a Sales Associate and by graduation was the Store Manager. Andrea enjoyed managing people and working with customers but she decided she should pursue a career in her chosen field of study, Accounting. Andrea started as a Staff Accountant at National Healthcare Corporation in 1997 and was quickly promoted to a Senior Accountant. Her banking career began in 2000 at a local financial institution as the Accounting Manager. Andrea joined MidSouth Bank in December, 2003 as the Accounting Coordinator. She was instrumental in developing the foundation for the Accounting Department and was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Accounting.

Andrea and her husband, Greg, live in Murfreesboro and had their first son, Greyson, in October, 2007.
