MIDSOUTH BANK ANNOUNCES PROMOTION OF BEVERLEY HAMBLIN
November 25, 2007

Murfreesboro, TN – Lee Moss, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, of MIDSOUTH BANK announced that Beverley Hamblin has been promoted to Assistant Vice President where she is the Team Leader at the Sam Ridley Parkway Office in Smyrna, TN. Hamblin oversees all the operations of the office including lending responsibility and recruiting new business to help grow the Bank.

Hamblin received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Memphis State University, Memphis TN, in 1980.

Hamblin began her banking career in 1998 as a Financial Service Specialist at Union Planters Bank. She joined MidSouth Bank in 2003 as Customer Service Representative.

Hamblin believes in serving her community where she is the 2007 Treasurer of the Executive Board for Read To Succeed. She also serves on the 2007 Pearl Ball Committee which is a fundraiser event for the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center at StoneCrest Medical Center. Hamblin is a member of the Smyrna Lions Club. She serves with the Rutherford County Junior Achievement where she teaches school children about economics, business, and free enterprise. Hamblin is also a member of the LaVergne Rotary Club.

Hamblin and husband of 28 years, Ed, have three children, all MTSU Alumni, and one grandchild. While born in Nashville, she has lived in Smyrna for 23 years. They are members of First Baptist Church in Smyrna.

“Beverley joined MidSouth Bank when we were in our organizational phase,” said Lee Moss. “She has been an integral part of our bank, providing the personal touch to each of her customers,” he continued. “We are pleased to promote her to Assistant Vice President where she will continue to make our clients feel welcome at MidSouth Bank,” Moss concluded.
