Tony Hicks recently graduated from the LSU Graduate School of Banking. He received a business administration and human resources degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, where he graduated summa cum laude. He began his banking career at SunTrust in 1990 and served the LaVergne Market for many years.

Hicks is an active member in the community, serving currently with the Noon Rotary Club in Murfreesboro and a member of the East Camp of the Gideons International in Murfreesboro. He formerly has served in the LaVergne Rotary Club Board of Directors and the President of the Board of Directors for the Smyrna Senior Citizens Center. He also served on the Board of the Smyrna/LaVergne Food Bank as President.

Hicks is an active keyboard player for the Southern Gospel Quartet called Temple. He serves as a supply for Ministers of Music in the Rutherford and Davidson County area.

He and his wife Jamie have two children, Madelyn and Brantley. They also have two grandchildren, Callie and Allie..
