Lee Moss, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Ben Weatherford, President and Chief Operations Officer, of MIDSOUTH BANK have announced that Gina King has joined the bank as Vice President and Trust Officer. She will be responsible for organizing the bank’s Trust Division.

       King received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Middle Tennessee State University in 1991. She is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute Personal Trust School and is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor by the Institute of Certified Bankers in Washington, DC. King is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Nashville.

       King began her banking career in 1992 as a Trust Associate and prior to joining MidSouth Bank was formerly employed at a local financial institution as Vice President and Trust Officer where she specialized in administration of Personal Trusts, Investment Management Accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts, and Endowments and Foundations. She also assisted the Trust Portfolio Manager in client portfolio management. King is very knowledgeable in applying trust law and taxation to various types of relationships and activities including taxation of trusts, individual taxes, gift taxes, estate taxes and generation skipping transfer taxes.

       She and husband Kevin have two daughters, Taylor and Morgan. They attend Holy Family Catholic Church. Gina is a volunteer Girl Scout Brownie Troop Leader.
