Lyndell Parks joins the MidSouth Team as Vice President and Deposit Operations Leader

       MURFREESBORO, TN – Lee Moss, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Ben Weatherford, President and Chief Operations Officer, of MIDSOUTH BANK have announced that Lyndell Parks has joined the bank as Vice President and Deposit Operations Team Leader.

       Parks extensive banking career began in 1977 while he was still a student at Middle Tennessee State University. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1981 from the University and began working in banking full-time. He was born and raised in Shelbyville Tennessee but has lived in Murfreesboro since graduating from high school. He most recently served as Branch Manager of the Main Office of Cavalry Banking.

       Parks is a graduate of Owens Consumer Lending School, Tennessee School of Banking, Branch Manager’s Academy and is certified in various subjects by the American Institute of Banking. He served as an AIB class instructor for over 15 years.

       His community involvement includes serving as a member of Oakland’s Historic Association and Main Street Christmas Committee. He is a member of Belle Aire Baptist Church where he is a Trustee, choir member, and Adult Sunday School teacher.
