Debbie Marsteiner joins MIDSOUTH BANK

       MURFREESBORO, TN – Lee Moss, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Ben Weatherford, President and Chief Operations Officer, of MidSouth Bank, have announced that Debbie Marsteiner has joined MidSouth Bank as Vice President in Loan Operations. She serves as the bank's Compliance Officer and Information Security Officer.

       She moved to Tennessee from New York and has been a Rutherford County resident since 1985.

       Marsteiner began her banking career in 1987 at SunTrust Bank in Nashville, TN, as Compliance Officer and Assistant to legal counsel. In 1997 she began a nine-year position as Consumer Lending Services Manager where she was responsible for automobile and real estate recording collateral.

       During her prior banking career, she was certified in various courses through the American Institute of Banking. Marsteiner also received certification as a paralegal from the Southeastern Paralegal Institute in Nashville. She received certifications for Specialized Knowledge and Applications and Completion for Foundations of Effective Management through the American Bankers Association.

       During her busy career, Marsteiner was involved in many community activities including teaching Junior Achievement classes and participating in various fundraising activities including St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital; March of Dimes; American Heart Association; and The United Way.

       Marsteiner attends First Baptist Church in Smyrna, Tennessee.
