MIDSOUTH BANK Promotes PJ McElyea

       Murfreesboro, TN – Lee Moss, Chairman and CEO of MidSouth Bank has announced that P. J. McElyea has been promoted to Banking Officer in the Construction and Real Estate Development Department.

       McElyea received a Bachelor Degree in Finance in August of 2006 and his MBA in December, 2009 from Middle Tennessee State University

       He began his career in banking with MidSouth Bank in 2007 as a teller. He was then transferred to the Credit Department to serve as a credit analyst prior to joining the Construction and Real Estate Department team as a Relationship Banker in 2009.

       He is a Board Member and Treasurer of the Murfreesboro Young Professionals and a member of the Murfreesboro Kiwanis.

       He and his wife, Whitney, have a new baby girl, Annelise, and his hobbies include golf, grilling, and enjoying football season with friends and family.
