McGrew received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from California State University in Long Beach, CA. in 1986. She has been a resident of Rutherford County since 1996. She worked with a local financial institution prior to joining MidSouth Bank in 2003. She graduated from the Southeastern School of Banking Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt in 2007. She is an Assistant Vice President and Team Leader of the Memorial Blvd. office.

      McGrew's community involvement includes being in the 2008-2009 class of Leadership Rutherford, being on the Council for Read to Succeed, a non-profit which promotes family literacy in Rutherford County; Pass The Salt; and Youth With A Mission where she participated in a five-month mission trip serving in Fiji.

Jennifer lives in the county with her daughter Sarah. She enjoys golf, horseback riding, working in her flower beds and watching her daughter compete in equestrian eventing. They attend World Outreach Church.
