Al Miller, Anita Youngs and Kim Yarbrough join MIDSOUTH BANK
MidSouth Bank, the newly organized community bank in Rutherford County, announced today the formation of the bank's Mortgage Loan Division. Lee Moss, Chairman and CEO of MidSouth Bank remarked, "The formation and announcement of the bank's mortgage loan division is another positive move of this company to provide one-stop banking service for our customers. The mortgage loan division allows MidSouth Bank to provide all the services expected of a full service financial institution." Al Miller, a well known and respected mortgage originator in Rutherford County, has been named Assistant Vice President and Mortgage Loan Originator for the Division. Miller joins MidSouth Bank, moving from another local institution where he served as one of the top originators in the county. "Al brings to our bank the experience and dedication of a seasoned originator with outstanding character and integrity who can assist our customers and potential clients in finding the right mortgage product for their individual needs," Lee Moss commented. "Al and his family are native Rutherford Contains with deep seated connections and commitments to the community. We are indeed fortunate and excited to attract Al with his special talents to serve the needs of our clients," Moss continued. Miller is a native of Rutherford County. He was born in Smyrna, graduated from Smyrna High School and moved to Murfreesboro to attend Middle Tennessee State University. Al worked for one of the nation's largest tooling companies before making a career change to mortgage banking. He is a member of the Stones River Chapter of Ducks Unlimited and Focus Rutherford County. He is on the board for the Discovery Center, has served as a Diplomat for the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, and attends First United Methodist Church. He currently lives in Murfreesboro with his wife Beth and their two young children. Miller will be joined by two veteran mortgage bankers, Anita Youngs, Mortgage Loan Underwriter, and Kim Yarbrough, Mortgage Loan Processor. Youngs is a career mortgage banker with more than twenty years mortgage banking experience in Rutherford County. She is no stranger to many members of the MidSouth Bank Team, having worked at the former Murfreesboro Bank and Trust in the late '80s in the Mortgage Loan Department. Youngs is a graduate of Smyrna High School and Freed-Hardeman University and has earned numerous certificates in lending from the American Institute of Banking. She has two sons, one who lives and works in Rutherford County and one who is stationed with USAF at Moody AFB, Valdosta, GA with his wife and son. She is a member of Rural Hill Church of Christ in Nashville where she works with the youth group of the church. Youngs is an accomplished vocalist having sung at many Middle Tennessee area athletic events and weddings. Yarbrough is a native of Marietta, GA. She and her husband moved to Murfreesboro four years ago. She is a career banker with mortgage banking background in processing and originating. The past four years Yarbrough has been a mortgage banker in Murfreesboro with another local institution. She and her husband Jeff attend Christ Church in Nashville. "Anita Youngs and Kim Yarbrough will provide the support functions for the mortgage loan originators of our bank to deliver unparalleled service to our customers," Lee Moss stated. "The Mortgage Loan Division will provide conventional and government sponsored loan products. A customer will be able to secure any type loan available in the market today through our mortgage loan division. We were deliberate in our search for the right team mix for this division and feel we have a highly seasoned and motivated team of mortgage bankers to launch our division," Moss continued.
