Marsha Reeves Saalfeld graduated from Oakland High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree, with an emphasis in Public Relations/Journalism, from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. After college she moved to Atlanta and worked for a public relations firm where she traveled around in a hot air balloon and coordinated golf tournaments and corporate events. Her PR firm also was a host for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. This is where she met her husband, Ben, and they moved to his hometown in Northern California for three years. Marsha began her mortgage career in California as a receptionist for a mortgage company. Having a southern accent in California resulted in many leads for the company she worked for. With such a fascinating career and ever changing industry she took on the challenge and has been in residential mortgage lending since 1997. Marsha, a Murfreesboro native, and Ben moved back to her hometown September 1999. They have two boys that keep them on the move. She believes in being involved in her community where she was the 2007 – 2008 Chairperson for the American Heart Association in Rutherford County. She also served on a fundraising committee for the United Way. Marsha is a graduate of Leadership Rutherford, Class of 2002 – 2003, and is a member of World Outreach Church. |
