Waldron is a partner and managing member of Waldron Enterprises, Lavergne, Tennessee. Waldron Enterprises builds homes, apartment units, and manages apartment units and develops residential lots as well as acquires land tracts for future development. He holds a State of Tennessee Contractors License, which includes residential, commercial and industrial building.

Waldron received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science degree in 1985 from David Lipscomb University, Nashville, Tennessee. He continued his education by completing the "Next Generation of Family Business Members" class at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 1989.

Waldron participates in various leadership roles in Rutherford County.            Waldron, his wife, and children attend North Boulevard Church of Christ.

"We are fortunate to have Greg as an organizer and director of MidSouth Bank because of his leadership qualities, personal and professional integrity and genuine people skills," stated Ben Weatherford, President. "Greg’s knowledge of the real estate industry plus his lifelong commitment to Rutherford County, particularly the LaVergne and Smyrna areas, will be helpful in his service as a MidSouth Bank director."

In early January, 2003, Jack Weatherford, Senior Chairman; Lee Moss, Chairman and CEO; and Ben Weatherford, President, of MidSouth Bank (In Organization) announced their intention of founding the new Bank. It will be headquartered in Murfreesboro and will likely be capitalized with at least $15 million raised by organizers from residents in Middle Tennessee. The initial plans for the new Bank include one office in Murfreesboro and one in the Smyrna/LaVergne area. Organizers have signed a letter of intent to purchase a site in Murfreesboro and are currently considering potential sites in Smyrna. The organization has set up an office to handle inquiries about the bank at 1138 Dow St. in Murfreesboro and can be reached at 494-4949. Stock subscriptions are currently being accepted at that location.
