Kim was born in Dayton, Ohio, on March 31, 1958. Her family moved to Tullahoma, Tennessee, in May, 1979, where Kim graduated from Tullahoma High School and Motlow Community College. After a 10 year career as a legal secretary, Kim decided to transition to Murfreesboro, where she enrolled at MTSU to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She graduated from MTSU in August, 1991.

Upon graduation from MTSU, Kim began her banking career at a local financial institution as a mortgage loan processor. She quickly advanced to become an originator in June, 1992. She has been a mortgage loan originator ever since. Kim joined MidSouth Bank in March, 2005, and throughout her career has built a respectable reputation among her customers, real estate agents and fellow employees.

Kim is a member of the Rutherford County Board of Realtors and the Rutherford County Homebuilder’s Association. Kim serves on Rutherford County’s Read to Succeed Adult Literacy Advisory Council and also serves on the Board of the Murfreesboro Youth Orchestra.
